Out of commission! The front stair treads were removed so they could be sanded. Four layers of paint (at least) :( The good news is that job is behind us now and we were able to do it outside in the sunshine :) We have also sanded the risers lightly as they will be repainted white. I have to say the treads look fantastic and I can't wait to show you the finished stairs! Of course, I still have to paint a huge amount of new pickets ................... :(
