Day 21

The walls did grow :)  We also have four large openings on the south side where nice bright windows will go.  Between that and the door and window on the east side, it will be a very bright basement.  Just because we were having so much fun, we put a window on the north side too!  The first two pictures show that the walls are braced, in preparation for the concrete pour.  As you can see it will be a great, useable space when it is finished.  The ceiling is a full 8ft from the floor joists, and in total there is about 1,000 sq ft of living space.  The house really looks like it is sitting a little high out of the ground.  I am hoping when they backfill it will relate better visually.......no danger,  I can fix that :)
