What was totally prevalent at the IDS 2012?  Lots of organics.  Many styles of "stump" tables, much like the ones PerryJones sells :)  This is the era of reusing materials, and it is a great kick off for 2012.  I have been an advocate of this for quite a while (especially since we painstakingly took the old back addition off by hand rather than having it bull dozed so we could save the materials or recycle them)  I am not a person who would decorate in one layer or style, I like a room to look like it has evolved naturally over time.  So, one or two pieces of "organic" furniture placed amongst anyone's style preference looks amazing and adds another dimension to a room.  What are you waiting for...........find some organic new pieces and layer up your already great spaces :)
