Day 195

When we took down the old "barn" portion of the house (see older blog posts......much older thankfully) which had been converted to the existing kitchen, we were passionate about
saving the beams!  And, thank goodness we did :)  We have created some amazing reclaimed  side tables, or extra seating....you decide.  This beautiful one really shows the hewning that went on to create a square beam for the construction of the barn almost a hundred and fifty years ago.  It has gorgeous heritage marks all throughout.  Happily, this one has found a home and will be leaving us today!  Did you see the top photo of the beams?  Many more fabulous tables will follow.................contact us to claim one for yourself :)
