Well, here we are. December 1st; and unlike the record maker, Toronto, we have snow! Not much and by the time I was finished walking the dog in the woods today, it was pretty much gone :) Boy have we been lucky! Who is happier than me, when there is a photo of work being done? Picture one shows the guys parging the basement walls. They will most likely stay like this now until the spring, when we can decide if we want to put natural stone on the bottom or not. Picture two is of the south side, which they just finished. In picture three you get a good shot of the addition. The kitchen sub floor is on, the walls are parged, we are getting there! The next few pictures are necessary holiday embellishments (see window boxes). Even though she is the wall flower, she can still have a fancy new dress........

You've neglected to mention that father got shut down by the authorities for setting illegal fires...
ReplyDeleteWell yes, thank you for your comment Miss....but as you recall the fires were not illegal, only the town issued us a permit without talking to the fire department. (who knew they don't communicate...hello how inefficient is that) It was all straightened out in the end !
