Day 69

All that mountain leveling has resulted in some enormous rocks for landscaping! It is hard to see the scale of some of them.....trust, they are huge! Very helpful for the retaining walls for the basement walkout :) Hopefully the weather is nice this weekend so I can post the results of our endeavors. The second picture has a massive rock which could only be rolled by the bulldozer, not picked up! Apparently it was in the middle of the road they were putting through this property to make the newer development. We moved it closer to the house, because it just didn't have any relevance where it was situated. Now it helps to anchor the house (remember we kept it 18" higher than it originally sat) at the corner :) It was a rocky start.................but things are looking up !
