Not so grand an entrance! We agreed to disagree and the wall between the front hallway and the living room (right now acting as the garage) was taken down and rebuilt. It was way out of plumb, and while I thought it was great character, it is still a supporting wall! The good news is dry walling will be a breeze and I am hoping that happens in the next few days :) Our contractor was over on the weekend and is coming back sometime this week to finish up the final outside removal of old siding (God bless). The progress this weekend looks like only baby steps, but that hall way will sing by the end of the week my friends! Let the music begin...............
