Finally the front staircase is being drywalled. Unfortunately we have to cover up the lovely brick wallpaper to do it. (The walls are out of plumb). How will we cope? Oh, I know, by making it pretty instead :) This is a bigger job than it looks, and required us to build scaffolding to accomplish it :( The good news is that this is the first thing you see when you enter the house, now it will better represent the direction of the design. Thank God..................... the first impression can be everything........!
