The monsoon season (who knew we had one) has stopped any large construction. It is like a ghost town here :( During one of the many particularly heavy rainfalls, of course, the big box store decided to arrive with my order. More kitchen, I am an expert now. The best option for the men was to build a plank bridge across the sea of mud towards the basement. The good news was, that after the blank stare they carried on smiling! So, all in all, some things moved forward. We drywalled the upstairs hallway in the original part of the house :) It's hard to tell, but it does let in a lot more light. Just wait until we paint the floor white as well! The boxes can wait until we get the floor poured in the addition (stay away rain clouds)...... and all else hopefully will continue this week............ I said hopefully.............. who knows :(
