Day 79

The roof structure on the front porch is complete! Except for the metal roof part :( But it is starting to look "finished". When you can visualize how it will end up looking you know you are nearing the finish line. I would say on the exterior we have done 13 laps of a 20 lap run. That outdoor space will consist of new steps leading up to the porch, a sitting area to the left, and a glass vestibule to the right which covers the entrance to the house. Beautiful! Lots of great detail is being added to this structure...........and as you know.......it is all in the details!

Speaking of details did you see my stunning new butter dish? (Last picture if you are confused). That little trooper came across two countries and took 3 months (I know right?) to finally get to me. But arrive it did with loving care (you know who you are). Talk about kitchen detail......................what an accessory :)
