So, the floor is another thing that is slow going in this renovation project! Approximately half of the floor boards were compromised from carpenter ant damage (back when the front of the house was resting on the soil). Much more than we thought would be ruined :( The second picture is of some of the boards we were able to keep. Do you see the middle one? It actually has pencil lines drawn on the face of it, to emulate narrow strip flooring :) Cheap pine plank to strip flooring....................they didn't know how good they already had it!
