Day 80

Reflecting on the little things.............

It is a long journey when you take on a house this challenging, mostly good. More than ever now we find ourselves slowing down and really figuring out how the rest of the house should evolve. I like the fact that some things we were positive about having, we realized early enough, needed changing. I love how each new thing done, gives us a different insight into how the next will be done. I like that we took time out of the weekend and put up the clothesline (I was so missing the smell of summer sheets, and even though they are out in the desert of our backyard, yes they still smell wonderful!!) We rescued some hostas from a sure demise by moving them from under the front porch :) I love how the window box (taken down while insulating and porch construction went on) is thriving in the north driveway. The door (picture number four) facing onto the north driveway was going to be the access to our mud room, but the grade is just calling for too many stairs and it will interfere with the driveway, so stayed tuned for the new great solution we have for it. An ever evolving puzzle..............just got a brand new piece :)
