Day 84

Look away if you don't like heights!! We just took down the construction stairs in the kitchen. And from the top floor to the basement, the drop is about 26 feet :( Scary but necessary. We were able to drywall most of the large wall (which was daunting, thank you S!) so reconstruction can begin on the new staircase! Already I miss those stairs. I am running to the front of the house every time I need something upstairs, not such a short distance. That sounds kind of lazy and a little spoiled, so I will stop now :) Photo one is looking down from the second story and onto the construction stairs to the basement. Photo two shows the new drywall! Photo three is looking up to the second story (where the landing will be) from the kitchen. Photo four shows the now "ungarage" door, which will eventually be replaced with a full glass door. Like all the others...............so it doesn't feel singled out.........oh yeah, and for more light :)
