Day 83

A never ending demolition :( But you need to break a few eggs to make breakfast! (You know what I mean) The front hallway was stripped of most of the remaining plaster and lathe so we can start to drywall this area. You know how I feel about first impressions! So this area will be fun to transform because it needs to have the impact and is the starting point that will lead you into the rest of the house :) I can see (once the dust has settled) that the next step has arrived, and it feels good! In some ways I hate to cover up the beautiful wide old boards that define the construction of the old house (really obvious in picture one). But change is a good thing, and it only gets better from here....................I hope :)
