The metal roof finally went up on the front porch this weekend :) Although it isn't quite finished yet as we now need to paint the wooden frame. I must say it brought out a little "southern" in me when it started raining and you could hear the wonderful sound of drops hitting the metal! I love metal roof's for this. They also last forever so although a bit more expensive than traditional tiles, well worth the investment. It makes a bold statement on the front of the house.......... now we just need to follow that up with the siding................ a TON of work........... :(

Why didn't the roof get done? Why, Fatty McHusband fell off the ladder and sprained his ankle. That's why!
