Hardscape and softscape! Lovely yes........but if I have to say "This is the last walkway I ever do!" one more time..........well, I hope I meant it this time :( A full weekend of back breaking work (great exercise though) and a beautiful introduction to the Chateau has emerged :) Do you see the large ironstone flanking the beginning of the walkway? Our eighty year old neighbour (technically retired but he still likes to head to the farm and help out) helped us get those in place! Thanks to his farm experience on how to solve getting those 1600 lbs of heavy off of the trailer! You can solve anything with the question, "You got any chains?". Anyhow, that is one more big ticket item off of our checklist :) Little things still remain like irrigation and lighting...............but the big work?................ is over :)
Looks great guys. Well done. We took out our trees and shrubs from the front of the house over the weekend...looks like the moon out there now. BUT we can see the house and she's sweet.
