Day 102

Things are looking up! The bottom portion of the second staircase was completed this weekend. We decided to paint them rather than stain, in keeping with the original staircase at the front and also with the style of the house. The landing is now two levels and will have a step between them, to accommodate the change in height. From a design stand point, the wow factor is much more interesting (see blog history for the one level landing..........boring). When you create visual interest within small areas, you have a winner :) Keep climbing little stairs.......soon we will be at the top!!
