We were back at it last night (the living room) and we are getting there! All the walls have been insulated now and we are working on the ceiling :) Before anything exciting can happen we need to do the boring stuff :( By sistering the joists we are strengthening the floor upstairs as well as leveling out the ceiling. From one side of the room to the other, the ceiling sloped 2"'s. Any great details we put on the ceiling would really show the slope so we needed to correct it. Always a step back before forward in the Tyvek Taj! I am going to miss the raw ceiling, that wood is magnificent. But the new ceiling............................well, let's just say......it really is all about the details :)
