Day 106

The weekend was busily filled with both happy and sad. The parade was in full throttle on Saturday (thank goodness I didn't need a cement pad poured for the garage just yet, as I see he was busy in the procession!). We did manage to get a little ahead in the living room (see tomorrow's post) so all was not lost. The parade is a great event and even though it cannot stand up to Toronto's, who else can say that they know every single person in it :). Our sad was that we lost a dear friend :( We were able to spend the afternoon celebrating her life and I know she will be watching the progress of this seemingly endless renovation............as she has from the beginning ..................laughter and encouragement abounding :)
