Another thing on my list of favourites! Pine cones. Just look at the texture of them. They are the perfect thing to decorate with in the winter. I like to place a bowl of pine cones somewhere in the room, so your eye can catch it when you are ready :) When I think of this time of year and decorating, don't overlook what you can find outside ....................within reason.................nobody is going to "get" that the bowl of water on the table is warm snow :)
