Design 101
Start to change your room with something as easy as creating a simple vignette.  I did two really quick looks for this little table (yes I know........ normally I recommend paint on the walls).   This was done by choosing some handy things that were lying around elsewhere.  Clear a table and give it a try.  It creates something interesting for the eye to look at when you enter the room.  Keep practicing until you find a combination of things that look great together............I guarantee you will create something wonderful!  Oh and as a cheat trick........nearly everything looks better grouped in three's............. or any odd number for that matter!   Odd isn't it?  :)
