As important as crown moulding is in a room you cannot overlook the baseboard trim either. We had knives cut to match the trim we had in another house (fortunately we took a piece of it with us). We shortened this one slightly from the original as this house has nine foot ceilings rather than the ten that were in the old house :( This baseboard is eight inches tall, still a nice height! It helps to balance the room with a top and bottom ............................. now, if we could just get something in between :)

ReplyDeleteYes, it is very easy to do. They simply cut "knives" for the exact profile you are interested in. There is an initial cost for the knives but once made you can use them as long as you like! I can give more in depth details if necessary, but I hope that answers your question!
