It is hard to believe but the Phoenix (or in this case the en suite bathroom) should rise out of the ashes soon! The stud wall was the existing master bedroom wall which needs to have the chimney taken out of it and the door moved down a few feet. In the second photo you see the end wall in the bedroom and where the en suite will encroach into the room. The room will be smaller but it can take it. The size of the room is 13' x 18' so there is plenty of room to add onto the adjoining bathroom and also to give another large closet without compromising the space :) We will be putting a skylight in the bathroom to add another natural light source. I am looking forward to this part of the project because it means all of the demo will pretty much be finished in the house....................... who knew it would ever end :)
