So, of course the sanding of the floors this weekend leads us to another project :( In order to finish all of the front hall area (floors) we needed to remove the newell post that was sitting on the floor rather than the first step. So........all the railing comes down! We knew we wanted to change the railing and pickets, they just didn't relate to the house in anyway. It was a redo at some point (not a good one). Nevermind............... it will be a beautiful transformation when it is done :) Rather necessary when it is right at the front door! Here is to beautiful spaces .................wherever they may be :(
