I love tulip time!  You know Spring is here when you can get masses of tulips in the store :)  It is one of the simplest yet most beautiful ways to add detail to a room.  The good news is that it is a relatively inexpensive way to decorate.  For huge impact!  Try growing flowers of your own in the summer so you can have fresh cut flowers in every room all summer at no cost :)  It is one of those details that everyone will notice.  Look at how nice the side board vignette looks...........you don't even notice the lack of paint :) .............. right?  Oh, as an aside ..................we don't keep plastic on our lamps ............ it was just dusty :(
