After a VERY long time, apart from paint, this room is finished! I am itching to get in here and hit it with the pretty stick :) I even love the fact that while the old wood sanded to the same colour as the newer flooring, it didn't quite match once the sealant was put on (a lot). It tells a story and I think it looks great. We have been motivated to get things done lately and I can see all the progress is paying off. As soon as the furniture can be moved into this space we will begin the larger middle room. Even on this cloudy, rainy day..............a little sun is peaking through :)
